If a sponsor hasn't supplied artwork directly, it's worth asking them for their official logo file rather than recreating it, since a slightly different match can go against sponsorship agreements.

Ordering ahead of the season

Team kit is almost always needed by a fixed date, the first match of a new season or a specific tournament, so confirming numbers, names and sponsor artwork with enough lead time avoids a rushed order that limits garment or turnaround options.
