Who orders team shirts

We print for football, cricket and five-a-side teams, pub and work leagues, one-off tournament squads, and junior and school sports teams, not just established clubs with a kit budget. A group of friends entering a five-a-side tournament is as normal an order for us as a long-running club.

Design ideas for team shirts

• Squad names and numbers — each player's name and number on the back, printed individually within the same order.
• Club crest and sponsor logo — a main crest on the chest with a smaller sponsor or supporter logo elsewhere on the shirt.
• Tournament-specific design — a one-off design for a single event, separate from a club's regular kit, useful for charity or work tournaments.
• Captain or goalkeeper distinction — a different colour or an added armband graphic for a captain or goalkeeper within the same order.

What to confirm before you order

We need your crest or logo file, a list of names and numbers if the shirts are personalised per player, garment colours and sizes for the full squad, and your deadline, usually tied to a specific match, tournament or season start. If numbers or squad members might still change, let us know so we can plan for a possible top-up order.

Ordering around match dates

Kit is almost always needed by a fixed match or tournament date, so ordering with a few weeks' notice rather than the week before gives us room to confirm sizes and handle any late changes. If a new player joins mid-season, we keep your design on file so an extra shirt matches the rest of the squad exactly.

Choosing fabric for match day

A breathable polyester or poly-cotton blend performs better than heavy cotton for active sport, since it moves sweat away from the skin and dries faster between matches, which matters for a team playing multiple games in a day at a tournament. For training or casual wear rather than match day itself, a cotton tee is a cheaper, comfortable option that doesn't need the same performance fabric. If your team plays both, it's worth ordering match shirts in performance fabric and training or social shirts in standard cotton, rather than paying performance-fabric prices for shirts that are only ever worn to the pub afterwards.

Sizing a full squad

Junior and adult teams often need a wider size range within the same order, from youth sizes through to adult XL, so confirming each player's size individually rather than assuming a standard adult spread avoids a kit that doesn't fit smaller or larger squad members. For a growing junior team, ordering slightly generous sizing gives a bit more wear out of the kit across a season.
